Keepyoutube.com - Download YouTube Video Save YouTube

I just found a really cool site Keepyoutube.com - As it is you can't download videos off of you tube. If you go to this site, now you can save them to your computer. It's really easy and fun to use. Someone of a great genetic background must have thought up this site. Downloadyoutube

Home at last-Hey Del 30,000 Pounds of Banana's by Harry Chapin

1st of all I want to thank my brother Del for turning me on to this song nearly 30 years ago. After a couple of weeks I'm home at last. The next 4 pictures are of barns in Illinois, that I thought had a certain charm. I went on a 900 mile run to western Nebraska then deadheaded about 875 back before finally landing a couple of loads. The 1st one took me from Davenport Iowa (which I had already past by 80 miles) to New Bremen, Ohio. I got one this morning from Troy, Ohio to Romulus, Michigan. My 1st time home since the 3rd of July.

Sundown in Nebraska

Deadheading back home I noticed this beautiful Sunset, (Sailor's delight) After trying to get a picture out of my window, and in my rear view mirror, I finally pulled over and got a shot that I think captures a beautiful yet somber moment in truck driving. It also makes me think of the long night and the miles ahead. This, I think is one of my best pictures to date.

Sapp brothers Truck Stop in Sidney,Nebraska

This little guy came waddling (and by waddling, I mean walking much in the manner that I've been known to) through the parking lot here in Sidney, maybe he was lost. I got to Alliance area of Nebraska Saturday afternoon. My Laptop died on the way here, I deadhead down here to Sidney today to get a new 1.

Jerry and Ronnie on the 4th

You can see a little of their great work behind them. They totally re-built and enlarged (what used to be) a little cabin on Carpenter lake, in Hillsdale County MI, near Reading. It looks like Jerry wasted a little beer there, but it also looks like he didn't need it!! Also I think there is a weirdo stalker behind them.

Beware of Curryville Missouri- Speedtrap Usa Highway 54

I'm having trouble downloading pics right now, so no photo. I got my 1st speeding ticket since I started driving my truck. Curryville, MO population 233, brought in $133,000 last year in ticket revenue (and they keep ALL of it) This town is such a crock of shit. They bring you down to 35 then no signs for quite a few blocks(to make you wonder if you missed a sign that the speed went back up) then they have a 45 speed limit sign,(not speed limit 45 begins) where the "Chief" hides behind a building, if you speed up before reaching it he nails you. They get to keep ALL of the money they collect from tickets, which in the past has made up more than 50% of their General Fund!! . If you think, I'm just whinning cause I'm mad, google Curryville Missouri Speedtrap. By the way I was clocked at 46, about 20 yards before the sign and The smiling Chief of Police Jerry Sutton (he is Chief of himself, as he is the only cop on their Police Force of 1) wrote me for 46 in a 35 no break at all. If they really wanted people to slow down (as they claim) they could add a couple of more 35 signs, or add 45 begins, or move the 45 sign farther out of town. This is big business there and it is a total farce, USA Today has done a story on them and another town where Chief Jerry used to work. I called and found out that if I pay the $142.50 plus a $50.00 EXTORTION FEE, (ok thats not what they call it, out loud anyways) They will kindly change my ticket to defective equipment, with no points. I GUESS MISSOURI REALLY DOES LOVE COMPANY especially at $192.50 a crack.

You can now listen to Road Songs while viewing Jim Croce, Dave Dudley ,Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Willie Nelson, The Allman Brothers, Hank Williams

More music is coming, Convoy and Great Wolf pass by C.W. MCcall I'm not sure why I took this pic of this tree, The top slot and the smaller ring under it reminded me of something but I can't seem to recollect what? Any ideas anyone? I'm sitting in Georgetown KY now, Since the 3rd I went from home to Chicago area, then picked one up going to Kansas (streets and trips took me down a 2 track through fields with grass growing up in the middle). I made it there then deadheaded over the next 2 days to the middle of Missouri where I got a run going here to Georgetown Ky (The Toyota Plant) . I did go to my sis's house on the 4th (a slight diversion, Chicago to Kansas by way of Reading Michigan). It was well worth the extra miles though, It's nice to spend some time with family.
