Rolling Down The Highway
Yesterday I finally got a load out of Georgia. It went up to Paducah, KY. I was just about giving in to the sinking feeling of being stuck there for the weekend, and at 8PM central dispatch calls me with a load. I pick up tomorrow afternoon in Nashville and I am going to Donaldsonville, Louisiana for a Sunday morning delivery. It is about half way between New Orleans and Baton rouge. I've never waited for a load around there, but I've heard it is a tough place to get a load out. Oh well, maybe I'll get a pleasant surprise.
Sorry no new pics, this is an old one. Bye for now.

The Dougster went down to Georgia
Last week I took a load from Saline, MI down to Lafayette, IN. I sat in Indiana until Saturday night. I started heading home empty and I got a load picking up back in Saline (where I started) going down to Franklyn, GA. I sat in Franklyn Mon and Tues. Last night I moved about 100 miles NE to Braselton, GA. This puts me closer to the Carolinas, where alot of freight seems to come out of.
I took this pic sitting in the Hardee's truck lot in Franklyn. I need a load soon, because I'm going a little crazy waiting around.

I got a brand new Grandson-Dayton
Feb 12, 2009 Dayton was born. He is a cute little guy. He has my family trademark "butt" chin. I took a load to Indiana Wednesday night, now I just need a load out. Freights still slow, but I guess the load boards are picking up some.

Back At Express Way Inc.
It feels right to be back at Express Way. I made the switch earlier this week. I've been back at home all week and into this weekend.
I did a few local loads this week.

Home For The Super Bowl
I sat in Dallas for a full week(fri-fri). The freight is real slow, I started home Friday Eve. I did get a short load from Indianapolis to Lansing which helped pay for the fuel coming back anyways.
Most of you have heard about Kentucky's Ice Storm Woes. Here are some pictures of it. Very pretty to look at, but not much fun if you are sitting with no power.
