Beautiful day and drive. Im really glad I decided to take this hwy. Going from MoriartyNM to Tempe AZ. My route was supposed to be interstates all the way. When I woke this morning I took a look at my maps and noticed that by taking backroads (41 South to 60 West) I could save about 50 miles. It probably will cost me some time,500 miles of hwys through the hills, but I am way ahead of schedule. The Country sure looks better when you get off the Interstates. This has been one of my longest trips to date. 1,959 miles from Spring Lake MI -Tempe AZ.
