Hello from Laredo, Texas

I guess Bigfoot lives near Devine, Texas. I passed this sign between San Antonio and Laredo, Texas.
I got a load out of Shreveport on tuesday afternoon. Well actually It was out of Mena, Arkansas. I had to go 240 miles to get it. It came here to Laredo, Texas. I made my delivery on Wednesday (yesterday) now back to the waiting game. I really hope they get me out of here soon, I'd really like to get some more miles on this weeks check. It is also hot down here and I have to idle during the daytime which eats up the profits. My wife(Mrs. Hottie) is so unreasonable, On the C.B. radio some guy advertises trips over the border for 25 bucks! She said I can't go. Jeez it just goes over to an area known as Boystown, they say it's a red light district, whatever that is. I don't know what her problem is with me doing a little red light sightseeing over there. I'm sure the lights must be real nice if they have a whole district of them.

I give "Mrs. Hottie" a lot of credit for being married to you for so long. You're lucky that she has such a good sense of humor! By the way I'm still mad at Toby Keith for being so mean to the Dixie Chicks. That dumb SOB. Even though Mike Rowe (my boyfriend) is advertising Ford trucks now I still like Chevy better. Man, am I bitchy today. Have a nice day. :)

I almost forgot to ask. Do you know that song " Streets of Laredo" or are you too young? That's what I thought of when I saw your photo.

I know damn well you know what a redligh district is.Im not falling for that or bigfoot. Besides, who needs red lights when you have Mrs. Hottie at home.

So true about Mrs. Hottie. Is a red light district kind of like Las Vegas, only all red lights?

Wow# so much to respond to!
#1 Give her credit for staying with me? She knows a good man is hard to find and vice versa
#2 I agree, I'm not a T. Keith fan either and the Dixie Chicks were proven right we definitely had no business going to Iraq,Bush Cheney=Weapons of Mass Deception.
#3 I'm not sure who Mike Rowe is but the bigger question is does Del know who he is?
#4 Yes, I know the Streets of Laredo but no I've never seen a young cowboy all dressed in white linens, as cold as the clay.
#5 Yes, I know you are home, And I can't wait to get back there. But what does that have to do with pretty red lights?
#6 I can't answer the Red Light Vegas question because ,I guess I'm not aloud to see those either. I guess those Red Lights must be real nice cause there are a bunch of fellas lining up to get on the shuttle right now. Maybe if they are married, I could sell them some pictures of themselves getting on and off the shuttle! It might be a nice business while I'm stuck here I could start Ismyhusbandgoingtoredlightdistrict.blogspot.com

Mike Rowe is the Dirty Jobs guy. Del knows he's my boyfriend. Mike comes to see me when he goes hunting. Del is happy if I'm happy.
Believe it or not, when was a kid in New Mexico, I was in an after school choir and The Streets of Laredo was a song that we would sing. I always thought it was "As cold as the day" I could be wrong. That was a long time ago.
To Mrs. Hottie,
I think you're pretty special to put up with Mr. Funny Guy. No matter what he says.

The only thing I can think to add to all the comments are: What a great family to belong to. I love it. Micky I would ask you to share those blueberries but I don't even like them. Hey Douggie I want a picture of me in that chair - it may be the only time in my life that I am small. Keep on trucking

Anonymous,
You don't like blueberries! Next time I'll try to get you some raspberries, Hows that? I'm real lucky to have a great brother in law and sister in law like the "Hotties".
