Here's what my truck looks like now.It looks nice, but it's kind of crappy that I have to pay for their advertising($300). If they keep me moving well it will be worth it. They aren't the only company with this policy but to me that don't make it any easier to swallow. Sometimes you have to choose your battles wisely and I didn't think this was one I wanted to fight right now. It really cost them money though because I would have switched over a couple of years back and this was 1 of the reasons I stayed where I was then. I delivered to Dell Computers yesterday morning in Winston-Salem North Carolina. They had a few chances to get me right out yesterday 1 to Birmingham AL, 1 to Texas and 1 back to Michigan. After a couple more fell through this morning they landed a pretty good paying load down to Laredo. I came over here to pick it up about 1pm in Charoltte, NC. I'm loaded but waiting until this evening to head out, It is only 1 heavy skid(5,150 lbs). I'm hoping they can find me another load going that way. I've got room for 9 more skids and about another 4,000 lbs of payload. This one doesn't deliver untill Monday, so I have extra time and room. Double ups are like free money when you can get them, even a cargo van load would add at least $1,000 to this trip so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Bye for now, it is too tough to type with crossed fingers.
